The opportunity includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
• Assist in business, financial and accounting due diligence of Chinese private companies
• Prepare transaction-related documents, such as business descriptions & plans, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, industry reports & market analysis, financial models
• Conduct independent research on a variety of industry-related topics, specific product markets and potential investors
• Write marketing, promotional and informational materials
• Assist other members of the team on other ad-hoc assignments
The program is structured to give exposure to a variety or areas. Due to the boutique and entrepreneurial nature, Avant Capital encourages and expects interns to assume substantial responsibility. |
| Requirements: |

|
Undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in Economics, Business, Finance, Marketing or Law-related fields. Major in Economics/Finance preferable. At minimum, some Economics/Business coursework completed.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated interest in China.
• Excellent research and writing skills. Sample research paper and/or writing sample will be requested.
• Ability to present thoughts and analysis professionally using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Confident and self motivated.
• Prior investment banking or fund management industry experience a plus.
• Fluency in reading and writing Chinese Mandarin is required. |
