Collectively, we have gained experience in a wide variety of industries: infrastructure, banking, energy, TMT, consumer goods, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. Going forward, we plan to focus on the following areas:

Predictions estimate that cleantech and alternative energy (e.g. solar, wind, and geothermal) will attract hundreds of billions of US dollars in new investments every year, driven by volatile energy prices, environmental awareness, government support and new technologies.  Like elsewhere, alternative energy will be a high growth sector in China, where the government recently set a target of 12% of power generation capacity from renewables by 2020 (up from a mere 3% in 2003).

China's national healthcare system remains underdeveloped relative to the country’s economic growth and power.  In response, the Chinese government has launched an ambitious program to create adequate domestic healthcare infrastructure, including the creation of city and county disease control and prevention centers, and regional healthcare systems.  China’s healthcare reforms will generate substantial investment opportunities in the industry for at least the next two decades.

With the emergence of a burgeoning middle-class, China's consumer products and retail industry’s long term growth is projected to accelerate.  Estimates predict that urban consumer spending over the next 20 years in China will increase five-fold, up to US$2.3 trillion a year.  Besides the naturally occurring process of modernization and consolidation in this sector, the Chinese government is actively promoting its growth, with the goal of strengthening internal demand and reducing China’s traditional dependency on export-oriented sectors.  Given these efforts, a significant long term investment opportunity exists.
